For my project I'm going to do a feature on drug addiction. I want to capture a lot of emotion in these pictures and tell the stories of why the people that are using these drugs use them, how they got started using drugs and how it affects their life. I want the project to not focus on just one person and one drug but different drugs including things such as cigarettes, alcohol, LSD, marijuana and MDMA. I want to capture the feeling that these people feel while taking the drugs. I currently have 6 people that are willing to allow me to take pictures and interview them about their drug habits.
For the technical aspect of the pictures I want to include shallow focus to keep the focus on the people I'm interviewing and their drug of choice. I want to do many close ups and just pictures of their drug of choice. I want this project to include a lot of pictures strong in moment that make the viewer feel something when they see it.
