Pizzeria's don't stop during a pandemic. That's something the employee's of G's Pizzeria in Lake Orion realized amid the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19, otherwise known as the 2019 novel coronavirus, is a dangerous virus that has killed many, and has spread throughout the world faster than most imagined. With the ability to spread through touch or through the air, it has caused many businesses to close down, and many people to not leave their house due to state-issued stay at home orders. Although many are at home, trying to keep the spread of the coronavirus at bay, the essential workers of G's Pizzeria soldier on to the front lines of the pandemic. The need for food remains, so that means that although the sit down portion of G's Pizzeria is closed, the take-out and delivery portion of the restaurant remain open and busier than ever. Usually G's Pizza has 3 drivers, and 2 take-out workers. Due to the large increase of orders, the number has doubled for both positions. Working through the pandemic has been stressful for all employees and continues to be for all of the essential workers that are risking their health to provide for the communities they live in. G's Pizzeria in Lake Orion has not stopped for this pandemic and continues to serve through the hardship of the COVID-19 virus for the community of Lake Orion.
